Emerge is looking for a highly motivated individual to be our in-house accountant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounting:
- Check Disbursement and Encashment
- Handling Petty Cash Fund and Replenishment
- Coordinates, Monitoring, and Collecting Receivables
- Coordinates, Monitoring and Settling Monthly Payables
- Prepare and Monitor Invoices
- Bank Deposit & Monitoring Bank Ledgers
- Checking of Payroll and Encashment
- Monthly Financial Statements
- Posting on Books of Accounts
- Issuing Invoice and Official Receipt
- Prepare all necessary payroll entries
- Filing and Payment of Taxes (eFPS)
- Monitoring and computation of 13th Month Pay
- Yearly Alpha list Filing to BIR
Administrative:
- Communicates and coordinates with the owners, management, and employees
- Reply to email, telephone, or face-to-face inquiries
- Handles and screens incoming telephone calls and messages
- Filing of documents contracts and such
- Run company errands to collect checks and notarial of contracts
- Coordinate repairs to office equipment
- Manages daily office schedules.
- Performs all other related duties assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education, Experience & Specific Skills:
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field
- Accountancy: 1 year (Preferred)
- Tax Knowledge and Tax Compliance of the Philippines
